Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney back together — for book tour

Onetime Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney and U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan have taken their show back on the road — except this time, it's a book tour.

The 2012 Republican presidential ticket running mates will land at the Union League Club in Chicago on Thursday evening to promote Ryan's new book: "The Way Forward."

Ryan, R-Wis., who is also the chairman of the House Budget Committee, offers up a critique of the Obama administration in the book — and some reports suggested Ryan is hinting at a presidential run in its pages.

“The prudent leader is like the captain of a ship. He doesn’t curse the wind; he uses it to reach his destination.” -- Paul Ryan in his new book, 'The Way Forward: Renewing the American Idea"

Romney is to ask Ryan questions about the book before a signing.

Ryan's Chicago stop is part of a national, nine-day book tour.
